How selling on BizSales works

  1. Create a free account and open the List your business page.
  2. Fill in the key facts buyers ask for: asking price, annual revenue, annual profit, year established, number of staff, reason for sale, lease terms and whether stock is included. Add photos if you are comfortable doing so.
  3. We review your listing, usually within 1–2 business days, and email you if anything needs clarifying.
  4. Buyers contact you directly through the enquiry form on your listing. You decide who to reply to, when to share your business name, and when to ask for an NDA.

Why owners list on BizSales

  • 0% commission. BizSales is a listing platform, not a broker. We do not take a cut of your sale price.
  • Free to list. There is no listing fee today. If paid options are ever introduced, they will be announced in advance and existing listings will not be charged retroactively.
  • Anonymous if you want. Use a generic title such as “Established F&B outlet, Central Singapore”, leave out the address, and reveal details only to serious buyers.
  • Singapore only. Every listing is a Singapore business, so buyers on the site are looking for exactly that.
  • Direct conversations. No middleman between you and the buyer.

Selling with or without a broker

Many small Singapore businesses (shop takeovers, cafés, enrichment centres, online stores) are sold directly by their owners. Listing on BizSales lets you do that without paying commission. For larger or more complex sales, you may want a business broker, valuer, accountant or lawyer on your side. You can find them in our advisor directory and still list on BizSales at the same time.

BizSales does not value businesses or set asking prices. To sense-check your price, see what similar businesses are asking in our Singapore market snapshot, try the free valuation calculator, or speak to a valuer.

Frequently asked questions

How do I sell my business in Singapore?

Get your last 12–24 months of accounts in order, decide on an asking price, and list the business where buyers are looking. On BizSales.sg you create a free account, fill in the listing details, and buyers contact you directly. You then share more information under NDA, agree terms, and complete the sale as a share sale or an asset sale with your lawyer or corporate secretary.

How much does it cost to sell a business on BizSales?

Listing is free and BizSales charges 0% commission on the sale. You only pay the advisors you choose to hire, such as a lawyer or accountant.

Can I sell my business without a broker in Singapore?

Yes. Many small businesses are sold directly by their owners. A listing on BizSales puts your business in front of buyers without a broker’s commission. For larger deals you can still bring in a broker or valuer from our advisor directory.

Can I sell my business anonymously?

Yes. Use a generic title, leave out the address and business name, and reveal details only to buyers you have screened, ideally after they sign an NDA.

How long does it take to sell a small business in Singapore?

It varies widely with price, industry and how well prepared the business is. Small shop takeovers can move within weeks, while established companies often take several months from listing to completion. Clean accounts and a realistic asking price shorten the process.
